1. Preparation
a. Connect PS/PSI via USB interface, wait for driver to install. Make sure, only one PS/PSI 8000 is connected to the PC.
b. Make shortcut on DC output. Cable cross section must be sufficient for the max. current of your device!
c. Switch on device
d. Start PS8000_offset_tool.exe
2. Tool
a. Click button 1. Wait for the device to be found and correctly displayed in the 6 fields.
b. Click button 2.
c. Click button 3. A field “Offset in Ampere” will appear:
i. The device will set 0 A. If there is a positive current offset it will be shown, like in the screenshot above.
ii. Field “I monitor” will show a value, most likely negative.
iii. Adjust that value downwards, i. e. increase it by steps of 1 or 10 with the small arrows or enter it directly with the keyboard. Continue increasing “I monitor” until “Offset in Ampere” reaches 0. Best is to have the offset be a little over 0, for example 0,001…0,003 (models with 2 decimal places for current on display) resp. 0,01…0,03 (models with 1 decimal place for current on display)
d. Click button 4.
e. Click button 5.
i. The device will set max. current now! Another field “Offset in Ampere” will appear (beneath button 6), showing the offset (negative or positive) at max. current.
ii. Repeat the same procedure as in step 2-c-iii. with the “I select” field next to button 6. Rules:
1. If offset is negative, make value in “I select” positive.
2. If offset is positive, make value in “I select” negative.
iii. Adjust the value in “I select” until “Offset in Ampere” shows almost zero. It is recommended to keep a small positive offset.
f. Click button 6.
g. Click button 7.

點(diǎn)擊按鈕2。
點(diǎn)擊按鈕3。一個(gè)字段“抵消安培”將出現(xiàn)：
一，設(shè)備將設(shè)置0答：如果有一個(gè)積極的電流偏移將顯示，如在上面的截圖。
II?，F(xiàn)場(chǎng)“我顯示器”將顯示價(jià)值，zui有可能的負(fù)面。
三、向下調(diào)整該值，即用小箭頭加1或10步，或用鍵盤直接輸入。繼續(xù)增加“我監(jiān)測(cè)”，直到“抵消安培”達(dá)到0。是有偏移是0多一點(diǎn)，例如0001…0003（小數(shù)點(diǎn)后2位為當(dāng)前顯示模式）或。0.01 0.03（與…當(dāng)前顯示1位小數(shù)的模型）
D.點(diǎn)擊按鈕4。
點(diǎn)擊按鈕5。
設(shè)備將設(shè)置zui大電流現(xiàn)在！另一個(gè)字段“抵消安培”將出現(xiàn)（下面按鈕6），顯示偏移量（負(fù)或正）在zui大電流。
II。重復(fù)同樣的程序，如步驟2-c-iii.與“我選擇”字段旁邊的按鈕6。規(guī)則:
1。如果偏移量為負(fù)值，則在“我選擇”正。
2。如果偏移為正，使“i選擇”負(fù)值為負(fù)值。
調(diào)整“我選擇”的值，直到“抵消安培”顯示幾乎為零。建議保持一個(gè)小的正偏移。
點(diǎn)擊按鈕6。
點(diǎn)擊按鈕7。
